The Electronic Library of Mathematics is offered by the European Mathematical Society (EMS) in cooperation with FIZ Karlsruhe / Zentralblatt MATH.
- National Internet eXchange of India
The National Internet eXchange of India is the meeting point of the ISPs in India. Its main purpose is to facilitate handing over of domestic Internet traffic between the peering ISP members. This will enable more efficient use of international bandwidth, save foreign exchange. It will further improve the Quality of Services for the customers of member ISPs, by being able to avoid multiple international hops and thus lowering delays. NIXI is managed by a limited liability company under the name National Internet Exchange of India, registered as a Section 25 company of the Companies Act and other applicable laws of India. It is managed by a Board of Directors. The Directors are drawn from the Department of Information Technology, eminent acamedicians such as from IIT, ISPAI, and from among the peering ISPs. NIXI is physically hosted at the premises of Software Technology Parks of India at all it's present locations, ie. New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Calcutta. NIXI will be managed and operated on a Neutral basis, in line with the best practices for such initiatives globally and will be a Not-for-Profit operation. The initial cost of the project is being provided for by a Grant from the Deptt. of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India. It is envisaged that from the Second year of operations, the venture will become financially self sustaining and all surplus income will be used to meet the objectives of NIXI. The Board of NIXI will be the final authority on interpretation and application of the MoU, Policies and Principles, Service Rules and Regulations, etc. Iin the event of any dispute, the courts of Delhi/New Delhi will have jurisdiction.

both external like a click of a switch and internal like receiving a
character. FreeRTOSTM is a portable, open source, mini Real Time Kernel.
It is free for download and use, even in commercial applications. This
site shows how a complete embedded real time system can be created from
a Windows host using quality open source development tools. The website

- Isotropy software suite
Isotropy is a software package based on group theoretical methods for the analysis of phase transitions in crystalline solids.
Applying the theoretical methods for the analysis of crystal symmetry,
software calculates the displacement modes in a crystal , finds the
space-group symmetry of a crystal, handles situations where there is
uncertainty in the lattice parameters. The main interactive program
consists of modules which enable the researchers to explore and
visualize displacive distortions of a crystalline structure associated
with space group irreducible representations, identify the space group
of a crystal, find a complete list of order parameters for a phase
transition, generate invariant polynomials of the components of order
parameters, find the displacement modes in a crystal which brings the
dynamical matrix to block-diagonal form, determine if two crystals have
a group-subgroup relation, calculate phonon frequencies and displacement
modes using the method of frozen phonons, find common subgroups of two
structures in a reconstructive phase transition. Free downloadable
versions for Linux and DOS are available at this website. The software
is also directly usable on the Internet.
