  1. eScholarship Repository

    The repository, sponsored by the California Digital Library, provides persistent access and makes the content easily discoverable. It is a project of the eScholarship initiative of the California Digital Library within the University of California Office of the President. eScholarship, whose mission is to facilitate and support scholar-led innovations in scholarly communication, is providing this and other services in response to an expressed need for alternative publishing mechanisms.


  2. Eureskter Swiki

    A swicki is new kind of search engine that allows anyone to create deep, focused searches on topics you care about. Unlike other search engines, you and your community have total control over the results and it uses the wisdom of crowds to improve search results.


  3. Open Video Project

    The purpose of the Open Video Project is to collect and make available a repository of digitized video content for the digital video, multimedia retrieval, digital library, and other research communities.


  4. Supergen Future Network Technologies

    This web site records progress by the consortium of universities researching Future Network Technologies, that is, networks that are able to support a sustainable energy policy for the UK.


  5. British Library Research Archive

    A database of papers and materials by researchers who are not affiliated to an academic institution. Those submitting documents here are usually the author or editor or have the necessary permission to make the documents available via this archive. Some of the material may not have been peer-reviewed.

    A new non-profit job board organized specifically for the international academic community. United Kingdom is the newest member of their academic network.

    CourseCafe is a personalized, student powered search application. Search, Manage, and Track all of your course work related Internet search in a single place. Benefit from the combined search of all students who have searched on the same topic.


  8. Design Build Network

    Design Build Network lists many industry suppliers for the design, construction and outfitting of new buildings. It also lists industry events and conferences and has a growing glossary of industry terms.


  9. e-Framework

    The e-Framework is an initiative by the UK's Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC), Australia's Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) and partners to produce an evolving and sustainable, open standards based, service oriented technical framework to support the education and research communities.


  10. ePortfolio.org

    ePortfolio.org is a student-centered platform which, is augmented by a Project Builder and an Assessment module. Students can create and customize portfolios for academic, career, or personal uses; maintain their plan of study; and share their work, goals, and achievements with advisors, career counselors, and employers. Faculty, departments, and institutions can create portfolio assignments linked to scoring rubrics. Assessment committees can randomly select portfolios, score them with rubrics, and generate assessment reports.

It weaves unusual and thought-provoking connections between people, innovations and ideas. Drawing on the resources of NMSI, the site contains over 30,000 images which are used to illustrate over 30 different subjects, topics and debates.

It replaces the Delphion, MicroPatent, and MDC e-newsletters and offers the same high quality, regular updates on these products plus other key solutions including Derwent World Patent Index, Web of Knowledge and Techstreet
