  1. Open Online Education Network: OOEN

    Open Online Education Network, OOEN is the largest and the most comprehensive reference guide to online distance education. OOEN lists online courses and online degree programs offered in all English speaking countries and also lists colleges and universities that offer online distance programs. OOEN also hosts forums to foster a community of online distance learners; OOEN provides news in education as well.


  2. Pilot Engineering Repository Xsearch: PERX

    PerX is a two-year (June 2005 – May 2007) JISC Digital Repositories Programme project, to develop a pilot service which provides subject resource discovery across a series of repositories of interest to the engineering learning and research community. This pilot will then be used as a test-bed to explore the practical issues that would be encountered when considering the possibility of a full scale subject resource discovery service. PerX is based at the ICBL in Heriot Watt University, and is part of the Digital Repositories Programme.


  3. Speech and Audio Processing

    The aim of “Speech and Audio Processing” (SAP) is to bring together researchers and engineers working on the theory and applications of speech and audio processing. SAP will be an interdisciplinary journal for the dissemination of all basic and applied aspects of speech communication and audio processes.

  5. Computer Clubs for Girls: CC4G

    Computer Clubs for Girls (CC4G) is an innovative award winning initiative, created by e-skills UK and funded by DFES. CC4G raises the standard of girls' ICT skills while transforming girls’ attitudes to careers in IT. Popular interests such as music, fashion, dance and celebrity have been combined with elements of Key Stage 2 and 3 ICT curricula, to deliver an engaging and fun approach for girls aged 10 to 14.


  6. Knowledge Speak

    Knowledge Speak is the world's first online news service to report all the relevant developments within the STM publishing industry, on a daily basis. This is a free service that also offers additional resources including a blog area, calendar of events, articles, white papers and a directory of STM publishers.


  7. MetaScholar

    The MetaScholar Initiative is currently working on six main projects: MetaArchive, AmericanSouth, MetaCombine, Music of Social Change, OCKHAM, and the open access journal Southern Spaces.

  9. Applied Mathematics and Science Education Repository: AMSER

    A collaborative NSDL Pathways project designed to help meet the resource and service needs of community and technical colleges and forge a link between these communities and the NSDL. AMSER will consist of a focused metadata repository and a variety of integrated services designed specifically to enhance the learning experience of the community college students and the teaching capabilities of instructors at those institutions.

    Cream of Science is the showcase of Dutch prominent research. More than 200 top scientists in the Netherlands with 25.000 publications are accessible for everyone. About 60% is full content available.


  11. Differential Equations and Nonlinear Mechanics

    The journal will publish original research papers that are devoted to modeling, analysis and computational techniques. In addition to original full length papers, the journal will also publish authoritative and informative review articles devoted to various aspects of ordinary and partial differential equations and their applications to sciences, engineering and medicine.
