    The World Digital Library, supported by UNESCO, is a project to provide primary sources from other countries and cultures free of charge, and is offered in seven different languages, including Arabic, Portuguese, and Russian. The design of the website is easy to navigate and very interactive, with its map of the world and timeline beneath it.

    The SCImago Journal & Country Rank is a portal that includes the journals and country scientific indicators developed from the information contained in the ScopusŪ database (Elsevier B.V.). These indicators can be used to assess and analyze scientific domains.


  13. Telegraph: World War II Articles

    The seventieth anniversary of the beginning of World War II is being commemorated across the world this year, and a number of media organizations are drawing on their own historic archives to offer a bit of perspective on that moment in world history. The Telegraph is one such organization, and they have created this fine collection of essays, video clips, photo galleries, and original articles from the fall of 1939. In the "As It Happened" area, visitors can view the original articles from the Telegraph and offer their own comments on these events.

    The SMETE Digital Library is a dynamic online library and portal of services by the SMETE Open Federation for teachers and students. Here you can access a wealth of teaching and learning materials as well as join this expanding community of science, math, engineering and technology explorers of all ages.
