  2. National Institute of Standards and Technology's (US)

    The National Institute of Standards and Technology's web site. NIST, an agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce, was founded in 1901 as the nation's first federal physical science research laboratory.   3. European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI)

    The European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) produces globally-applicable standards for Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), including fixed, mobile, radio, converged, broadcast and internet technologies.

    ETSI is a not-for-profit organization with almost 700 ETSI member organizations drawn from 60 countries world-wide.


  4. Australian Robotics and Automation Association

    The Australian Robotics and Automation Association Inc. (formerly the Australian Robot Association Inc.) is a professional society in Australia and New Zealand that is concerned with robots, their applications and their implications, and related automation technologies.

    The Association organises conferences and other meetings, and serves as a focal point for Australian industry and researchers concerned with robotics and automation.


  5. International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)

    The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is the leading global organization that prepares and publishes international standards for all electrical, electronic and related technologies.     The International Federation of Robotics was established in 1987 in connection with the 17th International Symposium on Robotics, as a professional non-profit organisation, by robotics organisations from over 15 countries. The purpose of the International Federation of Robotics is to promote research, development, use and international co-operation in the entire field of robotics to act as a focal point for organisations and governmental representatives in activities related to robotics.


  7. IFR Statistical Department

    The IFR Statistical Department, which is hosted by the VDMA Robotics + Automation association publishes the study World Robotics every year. This unique publication presents comprehensive global statistics on both industrial and service robots in uniform tables allowing consistent country comparisons.

    CAETS' mission is to foster effective contributions to engineering and technological progress for the benefit of all nations. This mission recognises the increasing dependence of nations on technology for the advancement of their economic and social welfare.
