    The Greatest Engineering Achievements website celebrates a remarkable century of technological achievement. The website contains detailed historical information, timelines, and personal essays by key innovators for each of 20 major engineering accomplishments of the 20th century.

    The content for the site is adapted from the 2003 book, A Century of Innovation: Twenty Engineering Achievements That Transformed Our Lives. The book was developed through a project initiated by the National Academy of Engineering.

    Founded in 1994, Innovative Communications Technologies Inc. (OTCPK: ICTN) has been a pioneer in the development, implementation, and positioning of private telecommunications products for business customers.     Rich Hooper created and maintains this web site. He is a professional engineer (PE), have a couple of degrees in engineering, a PhD in robotics and have been working on robots for over twenty years.

    This is a place where you can learn about robots and robotics engineering. If you are interested in robotics and are old enough to read, you should enjoy the information on this site. In most cases he gives just a small description of each individual robot or application. He encourages you to conduct your own research on any robots you find interesting. The internet is usually a good place to start for that. If you are not a big fan of geometry or trigonometry you will probably find the material on kinematics tedious.

    OrinonRObots is a robotics resource and community website. There is a great deal of technical, creative and background information on robotics for hobbyists and even those more experienced. Some areas of the site also form a dictionary for some of the terms and concepts used in robotics, electronics, programming, Lego building and engineering.

    eFunda stands for engineering Fundamentals. Its mission is to create an online destination for the engineering community, where working professionals can quickly find concise and reliable information to meet the majority of their daily reference needs. eFunda is all about the basics, for most part, that means college level material covered in engineering schools. If you practice engineering, more often than not you would find yourself searching for something you knew but could not quite remember. eFunda wants to be your reminder of these formulas. Not only that, eFunda wants to tell you exactly under what conditions those formulas apply, so you don't have to read an entire chapter of the good old textbook.
